Not pugged to my knowledge I saw his dad a few months back and sold him some Bx bits for his 8v Gti! definately a BX fan. I'd do the online Sorn anyway so youre covered, but then write the letter, It went to southern island so whilst he will have reregistred it there he won't neccesarily have de-reg...

Sorry, he's right - fade and metalic don't go well! T cut isn't that harsh and anyway they do one for metallics so you do'nt burn through the lacqeur. the fibreglas point is irrelevant - you are cutting the paint, not gel coat or structure! you'd have to rub bloody hard for a very long time to get t...

If it stinks of fuel and you get an engine check light thats bad news, The engine won't self learn much on a valver as it has precious little feedback from the engine, no llambda, no knock no nothing! all it can really do is attempt an idle compensation and thats it! It relies on being right in the ...

individual pencil coil packs aint all theyre cracked up to be - theyre generallly small and get very hot sat on top of the engine so don't allways last that well, What I think youre after is a modern hot wire airflow meter which you can use to replace the flap with? easy way to try this is to get of...

Ducelier are fine and that price is sensible which 100 quid isn't! My independants seem to be selling beru ones as well which seem fine and cost similar, in fact Intermotor do source quite a few bits from beru so you never know what might be in the box! Best thing you can do is keep your grubby fing...

Best bet really seems to be to keep the old front section and keep rewelding it to whichever box and rears you can find! The very front part never rots out! I do the same thing with rear boxes which is how mine still has a genuine citroen chrome end on a mild steel box, has been attached to at least...

And just for coincidences sake, mines been internitently cutting out going round RH bends for a year now and I've just ignored it, But it got really annoying at the weekend so pulled over and started waggling things to find which it was, - that very same dodgy battery cable, allways been a bit crumm...

I suspect that may be one of the press cars, when we bought a new BX back in 85 they sent us the citroen magazine for a year and I distinctly remember the 16v adverts allways showed a black one, but they also didn't have number plates on! one of the ads proudly told us that Bertone himself used a 16...

I could send you an invoice for what it would cost in birmingham by me based on a photo, then you could bank the cheque and do what you like when you like, or do nothing and keep the cash!

Either way if you want an emailed bill to print out and present PM me with a email address
