Stainless exhaust...

Post by djoptix »

Here:

Zorst, as the rudeboys call it

From that white 16v - the seller is listing the engine separately now. However, it's just a replacement for the standard setup, rather than a straight through (no cross box) so I probably won't have a go unless it's cheap.

Being a Scorpian it won't have, I had one of these on my car but I never had the down pipe fitted as it was not as the original !

I'm considering this for the phase 1 - I don't want a really loud one, so the design appeals, but as others have said I wouldn't use the downpipe.

I've got a decent front section and replacement manifold to go on anyway and I'm fed up looking at the horrid 'DTM' screw on end the previous owner fitted to cover up the cut off diesel tailpipe!

IIRC I payed 16 quid for mine but I was uber lucky, someone still got a bargain here, they were 330 new back in the 90's

We got outbid in the closing seconds, which was a bit sad. I didn't want to bid any higher on the basis the car never gets used so it doesn't really matter what exhaust is fitted at the moment, but would've been nice to have
