I only have one - always wondered why the up and down positions on the rocker switch both operate the mirror! They must be bridged, and if there were two it would operate the driver's one as well...

My late phase 2 was electric on both sides, but the phase 1 is only electric on the passenger side - the switch is there for both but when I got Witmun's to take a look and 're-fit' an electric drivers side it turned out there wasn't any wiring for it :lol:

Think the mirror/fog light switch panel is shared with CXs so they just left the left/right control there!

It is taken that G plate was also the year they started fitting both sides with electric mirrors.
Mine is a G plate and has a manual drivers mirror but some G plate cars have both sides as electric from the factory.

I want electric mirrors on BOTH SIDES

(hurls rattle out of pram)

One other thing I was wondering about - the passenger side mirror (ie the electric one) doesn't adjust up and down. Should it? Is mine broken? Might have to add that to the list of parts needed! 8)

Mines a 90 G plate and has 2 eleccy mirrors and monza trim.

Mine is August 1989 and had Monza and single electric mirror but as I said that is the yaer it all changed and I have the injection and fuel pump relays under the bonnet not the drivers seat :D
