to be honest a lot of people don't want them - they're based on 8V GTI seats, so no adjustment for lumbar support on the drivers seat, plus you lose the split fold rear seat too.

Best bet is to look for an 8V GTI being broken up - surprisingly more of them had leather than the 16V!

hmmmmmm thanks adrian i didnt know that im not sure it will stop me wanting one though,it just looks so much better than the lemans trim

If you do get a leather interior, make sure you get the specific door cards.

Most people don't realise that they had these.

well thanks for the tip mate,but if anyone can point me towards one id be greatful,ive been looking for well over 6 months now and....................zip to feck all has shown up(well unless i buy a full car :D )

there has been a leather interior on eBay on and off for the last few months, never sells though, have a searched through the 'completed auctions' lists and contact the seller through that.

From memory, was listed at £250 complete interior and then relisted at £150 with no door cards :?:
