16V Black Dash in good condition

Post by Mike P »

I'm looking for a good condition black 16V dash.

The curent owner of my old Phase 1 is nearing the completion of the cars overall and the dash is cracked in the section that sits directly under the windscreen.

It's been a while since I took a dash out, I can remember that this extension piece is fastened to the main dash and you have to take the whole lot out to access it.

Does anybody have a complete good dash or this front piece on its own :?:

You can't change the front piece but on the XM you can,
the piece is sort of plastic welded on.

Correct...i smashed my one out and made a new one out of 3mm mdf with vinyl and mesh...if you have the windscreen out, you can repair it, otherwise if the dash can come out, repair it underneath with epoxy/glass. It is SOOOO badly made, it cracks just driving along, did that on my old mans 16v.

good luck!
Would rather be driving ONE 16v,than fixng TWO.

I thought I remembered them being kind of plastic spot welded on.
