Odds and sods needed

Post by Toddman »

Hi everyone

After spending some time working on the silver valver, which is going to be a bit of a show car, I have found myself or rathe it in need of several trim parts, namely -

Glovebox with retaining screws
Upper or top half of the steering column shroud
Both plastic covers that run along the box section that the front seats bolt onto
Drivers seat (striped) bottom removeable part condition not important
Rear mudflaps
O.E. tailbox or just the trim piece.
Passenger side heater ducting that runs from LHS vent behind glovebox

Cheers
Luke

I've got a genuine OE tailbox complete with original black oval pipe.

Will check on condition at the weekend Luke.

Possibly also have glovebox but will need to check.
Now listen here you mullet...

Thanks Vanny erm?.... I have the one I have taken out didn't really examine it but the ends of it are in aterrible state, someone removed it when fitting the alarm which I have spent two days removing and there are holes drilled all over hence my need for trim parts.

Cheers

Luke, the NVH palatives aren't standard, basically NITTO foam is placed inside the ducts, and some special sound proofing on the outside, should cut the noise in the duct by quite a bit. Or you can have one without? It might be a bit pointless unless you change the set?

Aha I understand now :D

Good news is I have been ringing round my local scrappys and just got the heads up on a J plate dark silver diesel arriving late next week so I have asked for first dibs on the trim parts I need.

Thanks
Luke

Have most of that list except tailbox and mudflaps, and can do you a tailbox if you want one made.

The gen O.E. box has a black oval tailpipe which exits at the correct angle. I imagine getting hold of an original would cost a fair few quid!

I've got one on my valver that i bought about 3 years ago on fleabay but i'm keeping that one!
