I'd assume w/o is shorthand for 'without' myself

My 1992 Triton 16V was non-cat with 3 row ECU.

Quite a common thing.

All cars with knock sensors have 3-row ECUs.

The one I'm due to get back on the road is a 2 row 1990 Ph.2.

That, I am told... is a good thing (yes?)
Long-term BX-owner (had a Ph.1 and a Ph.2 in the recent past). Currently: GTi 8v, 219k miles (!), XM 2.0CT Exclusive.

Yeah, AFAIK the 2 row ecu'd cars have a more aggresive map and the cam pulleys are slightly different.

The only 3 row ecu'd car I have owned and driven was not quite as peppy as the earlier cars that I have driven.

G/H reg is the changover point - early p2 cars had identical management to late p1. Does of course depend on how long the car sat around before registration.....
