Oil dipstick and oil temperature sender unit

Post by RobC »

As above... Citroen have told me they are no longer available from them.

One option is 'spoox components' but at £55 for the pair it's somewhat steep...

So if anyone in particular has a spare oil temp sender unit wot screws into the sump, let me know :D

I have one spare and to sell it I'd want £20.
Try your local motorfactor I'm sure Intermotor do them the Porsche 944 uses the same one.

You can buy 8v dipsticks off ebay for £9. However they are longer than the 16v ones. All you need to do is cut it down using the old one as a template and put the notches back in with a needle file.Dead easy :D

You can use one from ZX or Xantia, they have a longer wire and yellow socket attached much better than the BX one which tends to burn/harden due to the proximity to the exhaust
