Ron and Ron

Post by Toddman »

Adrian E wrote:...and for Soupapes' benefit the posts above are referring to a famous comedy sketch by 'the two Ronnies' set in a hardware store where the bloke behind the counter has to interpret what the customer is asking for - 'fork handles' says the customer - fork handles arrive - 'no, 4 candles'

You get the idea?!
Hmm I thought the request was for "fork 'andles" and the shop keeper came back with 4 candles to which big Ron replied "no - fork 'andles handles for forks"

But anyway great shows them I particulary liked the cafe sketch where they had a conversation along the lines of "LO F U NE M" - "S V F M"

:D I know I am full of useless info
It is lucky that it seems BX 16v owners do have a sense of humour, puns about needing one are not required but dare I say we do tend to have the last laugh 8)

Would be like trying to explain irony to an American :D

I have two ICVs sitting in the scrap pile. Can send you one for the cost of postage but cannot guarantee its any better than the one you have. We don't run them on our car perhaps one of the local 16v guys could test it on their car for you.
