i have found that hsbc are very good for me over the past 2 years!
(not wanting to steal your thunder tim!)
as a guide my policy is fully comp, £100 excess for me and £110 for the wife, £750 audio cover, unlimited windscreens cover, £500 contents, curtosey car, legal, Full comprehensive rac brakedown cover (home start, roadside, recovery, relay, onward travel, curtosey car, overnight accomodation, european cover etc!) and the cars parked on the main road, with a cat 1 alarm immobiliser, 10k miles a year, value booked at £1500, for £305!
but i am 28 the wife is 32 and we both have maximum no claims (11 and 13 years respectively!)

Tim (Leech)

Is that for classic/limited mileage policies, or normal? Have agreed value on ours and wouldn't be without it.

I've just reinsured mine with elephant, this had better be a good year for me and the BX to make up for the cost! Ouch, my poor wallet...

On the plus side, it's the first time I have ever had everything on the policy 100% right, which feels good!... (no security, parked on the street in the worst postcode in the country, and I am a 24 yr old (single) sound editor & engineer... working in music etc is not good for your insurance at all!)

I was trying to put on my dad as named driver but he actually increased my policy costs for that reason.

Putting my girlfriend on reduced the cost by well over £100, result!

(Putting my mum on as well reduced it by a further £2, lol... I left her on for a laugh, she can have a blast in the BX when I'm next at their place and have her eyes opened - her daily driver is a 106 diesel)
