It lives

Post by tim leech »

Taxed the valver for the first time in 12 months  and drove her yesterday for a ride to coventry, she performed faultlessly (90 miles) and I gave her a good "blow out" on the M42 when the roads were quiet, but had to throttle back at 115 as she was wanting to go and go!

The new front pipe and devil link pipe make her sound loud but fruity and has definatly improved the pick up, a spotty young tailgater in a sporty looking 207 was left for dust at a set of lights 8) I got a few strange looks as I thundered past the repmobiles with the WTF is that? expression on their faces,

Whens the MOT due? i think yours was around the same time as mine?

Mine is currently SORNed, seemed pointless to have it taxed when i'm not able to drive it! I did buy a new garage roof for it first though.

*Edited for legality*

I haven't used mine for a couple of weeks, maybe I'll dig her out this weekend and give it a blat to 69.999mph, it's only done 6000miles since last August!

6000 miles! miles done 55 miles since november 07!

had the feelings of desire to take it out for a rag, but i think that the whole Pay as you drive tax system could benefit a few of us 16v owners that do silly little miles in them now!
on the old forum i think mine was one of the most used and has gone now to one of the least! haha!
