Has anyone seen this - http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C77115?pt=pf

Surely got to be a collection/museum piece at that price?

Cheers

has to be at that price but i sadly fear that due to the now present milage and that its been resprayed rather than kept mint original its lost a lot of the price! £12k seems a lot to be honest, if it were all original and on minimal milage then yeah, but on 80k, resprayed etc, tough one! even for the last ever produced one!

like the comment, 'this car is not to be confused with quite a few BX 16v examples around (mostly UK cars) that, almost without exception, have led a stressed and wearing life, with most of their owners abusing rather then using them'

i thought the whole point was to drive them like they were intended!

Sounds like a chancer - ad now withdrawn anyway

No way is it worth anything like the asking price - the fact its sat unused in a showroom for 3+ years doesn't necessarily add value - if it had sat that way for 10-15 years and then done 1-2,000 miles a year (so under 10k total) and immaculate I could see if fetching high 4 figures to the right person - if there is one.......

This very car was advertised and withdrawn a while ago IIRC.

Shame the advert is so full of rubbish.

It's a go fast car, driving them like grandad does more damage than driving them as they were designed to be driven.

I did chortle at the xantia turbo lower engine mount mod due to the "excessive power" line though. The guy should be on stage!

Yeah it is a shame the listing had already been removed.

Thought it might raise a smile though :D
