Yeah, I know ya ;)

Its a shame you are so far down the country or it might have been something to look into, that'd have upset phil If i'd bought a different bx!

I've another ax now, don't write off a vtr, its not as rev happy as the vts but with a decent gearbox bolted to it, it'll pull a decent 0-60

Ah yeah I'm sure a well sorted VTR/VTi will give respecable results, but for me the only reason I'd do one is because it's a bit easier to carry out than a VTS conversion.

I had a 106 1.4 XSi a while back, which I fitted a blacktop VTR block to, but with the 1400 XSi box, flywheel and cam etc. 0-50mph ish it was hilariously nippy!

Guy in Blackburn bought it. I never got to use it properly, but that setup in an AX would have been more impressive as it weighs a bit less obviously.

Still would need to be a VTS lump for me though :D
