How's your valver looking? <Picture thread>

Post by Vanny »

Strikes me that most if not all of us have a valver as a second car, and having spent a bit of time on mine at the moment i figured i'd start a thread to see where yours is parked and how its looking.

Here's mine;

Jazz has been sorned to due lack of funds since March, that said, the money spent on replacing the garage roof and putting in the lighting/electrics would have gone a good chunk of the way to keeping her on the road.

She will be back out for the easter holidays next year all being well, just in time for the show and motor racing season, it is depressing turnign up in the company hack!

My two are tucked up underneath the carport but far too dirty to pose for pictures :(
A few little jobs to be done here and there but nothing a few hours won't fix - plan is to have at least one of them on the road next April time.

Cheers

Mine is now "mothballed" and will be for the next year or two while i slowly save up the funds to fix all the rust and repaint the whole car + alloy wheel refurb.

it is now sat in the garage looking sorry for itself :(

Used every day... For the moment anyhow.

Might lay it up for the winter, and get some of the 'issues' sorted.

photobucket will auto resize pictures for you, by far the easiest way.

Matt, the rear bumper looks the same colour as the body, i'm very impressed as they always seem to look a little grubby on a white Ph1.

Well here's where ours hides:

Bit of a tight fit with all the junk in there, and that's before 2 mountain bikes get carefully arranged down the drivers side and at the back!!

and how the old girl is looking out in the light after the top end rebuild and a bloody good clean ready for the Ace Cafe meet on Saturday - click on the thumbnails for full size pics :D

from the man building what appears to be the most extensively modded BX on the planet, thanks very much!!!really must do a full on thread, its just a full on restoration really, and my dad can take a massive chunk of credit... wait for the other one to start popping up-quad throttles, cammed, coiled, ecu, xantia v6 brakes-all is in my possession, just need to get other one finished firstr!!!!cant wait.soon, soon!!!

Here is mine, sat outside  Ive decided to go back to uni to do a masters so the car will miss my attention for another year! The only thing i have done to it recently is fit an Isotta steering wheel which i picked up from work as obsolete stock for £1. Havent got any pictures of it fitted yet but heres what she looks like otherwise:

She is parked up on the neighbors driveway at the moment as they are in a retirement home and let us use the space. The car doesnt start now, either down to the leads being on in the wrong sequence or a faulty coil or knackered spark plugs. Havent got the time or money at the moment to sort any of them.
