Jay, phill (exvalver) sold it on. Ian ( badlyworntoy) now has it on here. Its now had a supercharger kit fitted to it, so i doubt it will be for sale now.

Hi I bought the car from Mick N in early 2008*. I added the missing tailgate badges first, and eventually found a pair of correct badges for the C pillars too. I sold it on - for financial reasons - a few weeks later to a chap, Tony who was going to take it to France. Apparently he fell ill and the car sat under a tree for six months. Then Simon - 'Ascot valver' bought it off him (after much negotiation!). It was cleaned up but then sold on again later, to Ian. I've been in contact with Ian recently and have bought my 'ex-valver's wheels and tyres back! And yes, the 16v is enjoying a course of steroids - talk of 270 bhp... a handful I'd guess!

Here's the car when I sold it:

*(I feel bad as I gave him a bit of a hard time over some aspects of the car once I'd brought it - but it's all forgotten now I hope - water under the bridge and so on) :)
Long-term BX-owner (had a Ph.1 and a Ph.2 in the recent past). Currently: GTi 8v, 219k miles (!), XM 2.0CT Exclusive.

Was completely bog standard when i sold it to Mick, only needed a few little odds 'n' sods doing and a little paint on the rear corner of the roof IIRC, was a nice motor and regretted selling it almost immediately but couldn't afford to run 2 of them plus the cortina or capri i had at the time. I know mick was VERY pleased to receive it after i delivered it to him at some motorway services somewhere i can't remember!

Wasn't aware that was the motor with the Supercharger!

Trying to think where the hell i got it from now!
Now listen here you mullet...
