Rossco:
I'm only enquiring about inside at the moment.

Vanny:
The supplier is quoting the following:

100 off for £75
200 off for £110

Waiting to find out if this is inclusive or plus vat.

Is this comparable to the previous batch that we had made.

Working on the lower quantity, a pair of stickers posted first class to people is going to work out at around £2.00 as non-profit making exercise.

I would be willing to buy them upfront and issue to people accordingly.

Would people be willing to pay the above cost :?:

Vanny,

I've just realised something fairly fundamental: the artwork says bx16v.com and that domain isn't this website / forum anymore and having looked on the .com, Mathew doesn't own it anymore / maintain the old database :?:

Do we need to consider new artwork :?:

We should deffinatley consider new artwork IF i can't manage to buy the domain which is currently for sale!

It is currently being held for sale by an unknow buyer through the SEDO group, SEDO is part of the 1&1 internet group who formerly held the domain name. I suspect it is either being sold by Anokhi or by 1and1 its self.

I've 7 days to sort it out.

I will hold back until that is resolved, fairly important :!:

The supplier is making me a sample, so we can approve their workmanship in the first instance and will then have to decide exactly what the sticker will say :D

Will post up pictures of the sample once received.

I've no problem with the price, or even more frankly.
Lets face it a packet of fags is nearly £6 now...

Well a week has passed and i've had NO feedback from the vendor. I've made another offer but it's not looking good. I would really like to see it sorted once and for all!

So as for the stickers, i'm not sure.

we have the following domains;

1) www.bx16valve.co.uk <this is the correct one to use to access the site>
2) www.bx16v.co.uk <this one feeds back to the one above>
3) www.bx16valve.com <another one that feeds back to No1>

Or we could trying giving it a little more time? But i'd like to have a cut off!

I'd favour hanging on for a bit longer.

Having no experience in this area, do you deal direct with the vendor or through a broker :?:

With regards to stickers, I have picked the samples x 2 off up today. Will post pictures up tomorrow.

you nearly always go through a broker, it can be done without, but it's quite difficult. I've only done two domain tranfers and they where both mutual transfers and very simple, so i'm pretty much clueless on how to make things happen faster.

Good things come to those who wait :D

Here are the sample stickers. First pictures shows them with the peel off "backing" (if you can call it that when it's on the front ) still on:

And with one peeled ready to stick. If the edges don't look staight, that's because there not. Cut to size by hand, proper batch would be cropped:

And finally, as applied to the offside rear window:

They stick very well to the glass.

I'm happy with the quality and the price, so I feel that once the artwork is finalised we can go forward with the supplier who made the samples :?:
