They look REALLY good Mike, better than a lot of the stickers you get these days. Is the company able to do one off's or just runs?

The supplier does all our spraybooth and access lift graphics and glass transfers and we do spend a lot of money with them over the year.

They have done one offs and small batches for us in the past where for example we have been asked to put a local council crest on a product, but you obviously pay more for the bespoke nature of the job, setting up and image processing etc.

If you don't ask, you don't get. No harm in getting a quote from them for something if somebody wants it.

How did the domain end up in this parties possession after Mathew's involvement ended :?:

That's just stupid... Not many websites are worth that, let alone domain names.

It's a case of cybersquatting, but there is no real worth in the bx16v.com brand, especially when this site already owns the other three. So they'll be holding onto that for a while to come I should think

My understanding is that when Mathew stopped hosting the site he parked it with his web domain host, which means they lease it out to a company which puts adverts on the front page and make some money on it. When the domain name finally stopped being payed for it was bought by said said company who continue to make some money off advertising. At the same time they use a broker to try and sell it for a decent return.

I sent another higher offer than the original £50 and this morning found a message basically telling me to FO. It's not worth $3000 of anyones money!

So i guess it's pick a domain name time. I'd prefer bx16v.co.uk simply because its shorter, but it is NOT the primary domain for this site, and it is a name owned by me, not Luke.

That looks alright Vanny :D

I guess it's a conversation you and Luke now need to have regarding the future domain of this forum :?:

I think that for the purpose of stickers BX16v.co.uk is a better idea and as that's on redirection here anyway I don't see a problem with it.

Hi

Post by Toddman »

Hello everyone

First off I would like to say I wish somebody had contacted me directly..I have had some family issues this past couple of months and not really been around.

However I do have a good supply of inside and outside good quality stickers which I bought myself when I started work on trying to hold the bx16v.com forum together.

Thankyou to Vanny for contacting me I will let him know how many I have here.

Cheers

If it's not too late, and there is a final decision on the co.uk/com, I would like to go for a pair for the inside please.

Cheers

domain

Post by Toddman »

Hi

The domains that I hold myself are BX16valve.com and BX16valve.co.uk...as I set uo the main website and spent quite a bit of my own money providing the domains nad webspace I personally would like stickers to be connected with the main website.

I can get in touch with the company that made the original bx16v.com stickers nad get a quote for a new batch...I beleive everyone was very happy with the original stickers...

Many thanks
Luke
