Thanks Timmo , got a few things to do when weather picks up nothing serious as it is a really nice car , I was very lucky to come across it and consider myself very lucky to find a nice one as there really aren't many left , Mark :D

What a great car!

Please preserve it! It's a very good and rare hot hatch.

The colour in the literature that came with the car says emerald green , I did think it was triton myself , the paintwork has a lovely metallic flake In it and when polished looks fantastic , it will be getting a full machine polish when the weather gets better and a small amount of paintwork , I will also be taking all the bodykit off and giving it a good clean behind/underneath before refitting , might see some of you at some shows etc in the coming year , thanks for the comments they are much appreciated , Mark

Bar the odd change to some bits and bobs that would take place over the years since these were made, I still think the ZX had pretty modern lines for it's era. Nice car.
Prefer it to the Lamborghini, like Signor Gandini!

You guys are so lucky by having these cars so cheap in the UK.

Here in Portugal these cars are so rare that they are worth alot of money. About 3000 to 5000 euros for a good one.

Over on the Zx16v net forum someone recently bought one the same colour as mine and it looks in nice order for £150 yes £150 I can't believe it myself , it had a short Mot/tax but at that price you can't go wrong , I know they are doing quite a bit of work on it , clutch , heater matrix , steering rack rebuilt etc , I think they plan on taking it on a few track days when it's sorted , Mark

And if the figures are right there are only 34 examples left in the Uk ! I've bought mine for the love of owning one of these fantastic cars but what with the dwindling numbers you would have thought even a non runner/project would fetch decent money , I mean the one above at £150 this would make a fantastic daily driver , fortunatly I have got a Citroen dispatch van for everyday and the Zx does very minimal mileage , I am always very careful when I take it out as trying to replace/get parts for it should anything happen would be a nightmare , one thing I do know is when I take it out it puts a HUGE smile on my face it's that much fun to drive , come on some of you Bx boys buy these up while there's still a few around I mean a Bx valver and a Zx16v what more would you want ?
