Hello all forum members i am new here.
My name is dave and live in somerset. i was tipped off about this forum by a very nice chap from newcastle i think :?
I have come from the 205 drivers forum.
my car ( 205 ) has a D6C engine which you will all know about.
Over the years i have played with this engine making various supercharger conversions and turbo conversions.
Finally it ended up being compound supercharged.
I look forward to reading about other members projects.
Cheers,
Dave ( cyman )

Hi Dave,

Welcome to the forum.

After that introduction, I demand photos and more information :?: :D

I'm sure others will be interested as well.

I'm on the 205 forum and I don't think I've ever seen pictures of that car, I would remember a gold wide-arched 205.

Like the Mini by the way :D

Snap, i've never seen it on 205GTiDrivers before, but then again i hardly visit with any frequency!

I'd hate to think how much it cost to do all that work though.

He's a top bloke that Dave Sims and his experience is going to be invaluble to me over the next few months whie i get the BX valver Compound working,For anyone wanting to just simply supercharge a BX I'm sure dave still has a very nice Opcon supercharger adapted for the XU9J4 for sale.

Dave wash your mouth out I'm From the steel making town of Middlesbrough :D Its fighting talk that all that calling us geordies, them bar stewards are 50 mile up the road from here.

Anyway the Compound charge is well on the way,Im having to comletely re-hash your exhaust manifold to fit the BX,i've simply started fabricatiing a new one from scratch to fit the BX,the 205 one wouldn't have fit without hacking the bottom of the bulkhead away for the clearence it needed. I also want to make it sway around the HP pump to sit above the battery tray, its possible but a fiddly design. People on here like to tell me to move HP pumps FDV's around but I can't be chewed with the hasstle, besides I need the room I can get for chargecoolers intercoolers for all the boost pipes.

I've also just got my mental stage 5 head back from Hiflowheads on friday its got Inconnel 35.05 inlets and 30.7 exhausts with A full Kent VS34 double spring kit, so its game on to get the engine totally finished and back in.

Looking forward to getting the rest of the gear off you shortly :)
