So when we gonna do something?

Post by Kitch »

It suddenly dawned on me....we've got a great new forum, new direction and morale is high (or should be)

Last Saturday I went on a rolling road day with my mate and the Nissan 300ZX club. They travelled from all over the country to meet up and pop their motors on the dyno. Then once it was finished it was group photo, then a blast in the countryside in convoy. Headed out to a nice old english pub and chatted about the cars, life etc.

I spent the whole day thinking "our cars are more special than this....why doesn't it happen here?"

And to this day I haven't been able to answer it.

There you go Kitch, something is in the pipe line, not to far away from many of our members really.

I quiet fancy the idea of another rolling road day for the 16v's

That looks good, although if you can only follow slowly behind a pace car it might be a bit dull? Racing would be really good to watch though :)

It is an interesting point Kitch and I doubt one that can be easily answered.
On the plus side when a few of did manage to attend a RR day we all enjoyed it and even managed a group photo :D

And I have to say I am overjoyed at how busy this forum is with only a small fraction of the old forums memberslist - well done chaps :D

It would be great if we can get a group up for Garys race but the new year is fast approaching and that as you all know is 20 years for the BX 16v so we should make a big effort to get a decent number of us together.

Cheers

I didn't read it all but saw your name on the first page so I suspect you were still finishing off the rebuild.

Oh yeah, I'd got it running but it wasn't road legal and had quite a few teething issues.

Well we'd better arrange another one before I retire the car for a while!
