GSF parts questions...

hello, every BX16V lovers...

Recently I decide to translate my BX 16TZi with 405 mi16 engine and gearbox to become BX16V ^^. in our courtry there is no any BX16V, so I must to search some parts them just for BX16V...

and I have go to GSF looking some parts... but there is no any picture to ensure the parts...and I have no ideas to sure are these parts suit to use..

so I have some questions...
how about
1.the seal for hydraulic pipe (3 sizes for 3.5 4.5 6.35) GSF sell?
2.the cluch cable for 16v ?
3.what is FR CONT ARM FR BUSH (N42225)?

I like Citroen so much.Now I have a BX TZi and BX 19 GTi...and had convertted TZi to GTi 16V... It's wonderful !

Hi, Welcome to the forum. I believe you are correct with the front bush

N42225 FR CONT ARM FR BUSH BX (CYLINDER SHAPE) £7.00

Clutch cable as follows
N71514 CLUTCH CABLE BX 16V & TURBO D £15.60

As for the hydraulic pipe, it may depend on which pipe you mean. Can you be more specific? I am sure someone will be able to help then.

By the way, nice tower you have were you live, have you been to the top :shock:

If you have a Citroen dealer in Taiwan, they will sure to have
the hydraulic seals, they are same as GS,CX,BX,Xantia,XM.
Only ori clutch cable is not available apparently stopped production.

HAve you got the half cut to transplant the engine.
There were 2 here in Malaysia from HKong, one I have bought as parts.
To transplant everything in front is different, from fans, a/c condenser,
eng, gearbox,wiring. but in taiwan it is LHD try sourcing from Japan
as apparently all 16V there are LHD but also rare there.

I have got the parts form GSF...
the cluch cable from GSF is RHD...so it is longer then LHD...but I think it will work ....

and the steer couple is different , so I have to do something else to fittint it on my car correctly...

and the seals are different to compare to Citroen originial...
but they also will fit correctly...

surjit25 you are right...
the front is differnt all...

because I can't find the 16V parts in Taiwan...
so I try to use other parts to transplant...

now I choich the Volvo 740 radiator to fit replace the original one...

but you know... I still no way to overcome the hp bracket...
the only way I think is change the pully of 405 mi16 Steer pump to citroen HP's...and midify the 405's backet to fit citroen HP...

but because the size of 405 pully is smaller than Citroen...
so the speed the Citroen HP will increase ... I don't know it will be some problem else ?

I still want a original bracket if possible!!!

My suggestion is fabricate a bracket around the Xantia two stage hyd pump.
I will be doing that soon as my clutch is going and I will yank out the engine
get a bracket done use a xantia pump do away with the divider flow, plus the steering will be more responsive.
