185 on 16v Speedlines?

Post by Dave »

Hi Chaps, just a quick question for comfort as much as anything.
I have a set of Speedlines off a 16v and may fit them to a ZX. Will I be OK with 185 x 60 x 14 on these. That is the ZX size so the speedo will be fine. :)
Prefer it to the Lamborghini, like Signor Gandini!

What model Zx ? My Zx16v has 195/55/15 my old volcanes were fitted with 185/60/14 and the 1.4 Reflex 165/70/13 . I fitted a set of MiM imola 15" 5 spokes to my volcane fitted with some 195/50/15 and it looked pretty eyecatching for the time , here's an old pic . Sorry I can't rotate it on the iPhone

thanks , Mark

Hi Mark, it is a Volcane TD in red, had it ages. I am just about to fit a cambelt, new discs and pads and should be on the road. Only problem is the road tax is ridiculous.

I have a spare subframe off a Volcane apparently in good order but you never know until you fit it.
