P R Net ???

Post by Toddman »

Been a while since I needed to use P R Net but just tried and it appears to have moved or maybe been taken down.

Does anybody know what has happened to it?

Cheers

It's become something else that you have to pay for I believe.

Luke,

The website has changed to http://service.citroen.com and you need to register which is free. Depending upon what you want (I tend to use it to check for cost and availability of parts) you can still use it. I'm not sure about the payment side as I only use it for checking. It starts in French but there is an English version (unless you're brave....)

Cheers,

DG.

Many thanks guys - I will give that new site a go DG :D
Hopefully it will tell me what an item is via its part number without costing.

payment is to access the Citroen Workshop Manauls, and you can download pages in PDF as you go, its expensive at like €14 an hour or something silly, but you can have an unlimited number of connections in that time, and there is no download limit. So say for example your putting a 2.1td engine in an Activa and you need the wiring diagrams for both, and yo have a couple of smart mates, you can all use the same access codes and go on simultaneously and get different sections.

Yes i have done it, yes it works, the quality is excellent and i think its a fantastic service. To my knowledge no other car company (inclusive of Pug) offer such a service!

I have joined up and although I could not type in a citroen part number to find out what model the part would fit I could type in a cars VIN number and navigate to the part I wanted - then simply print the page and select PDF instead of a printer and you get the parts manual page - just the job.

This is the pdf I created after searching with VIN - http://www.bx16valve.co.uk/Files/C5Dash.pdf

This is the part I wanted to check - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... EF:GB:1123
