Nice, I always thought that it was a front wheel drive car,
but it's a rear wheel drive.

The sunbeam was always RWD but IIRC the Talbot Horizon was FWD and shared the same shell.

I am very fond of the Rootes group cars right up into the Talbot days although the last years of Talbot were not so great.

In fact it is beleived by mnay that Talbot saved Peugeot as apparently it was the Samba engineers who did most of the work on the 205.

I had a Chrysler/Talbot Alphine 1442 in 1981/82 and it was
a cracker to drive, stuck to the road like a leach but gave me
trouble no end, crashing synchro rings, electronic ign failing,
cam wearing, tappets, buckets wear, driveshafts , etc etc..
