Xantia 2.1 TD Power Steering Pipe

Post by SimonA »

My Xantia has dropped it's LHM everywhere and it's down to the pipe from the power steering to over there (about 3 feet) but the pipe is no longer available from Citroen UK or FR.

Normally the garage would get it 'repaired' but it's not suitable for that, so it's scrap the car or have a pipe made up. Someone here mentioned Bristol 2CV's (I'm in the SW) is that the one in Hampton Road ?

Any idea as to the cost ?

Any other advice ?

Thanks.

The pipe here cost a bomb, I have them remade using industrial hyd. hoses and they work well enough only a bit of swishing sound when turning. Also use live connectors so that the pipe becomes into two sections and easier to refit.
