16v 1992 for sale or breaking.

Post by Anonymous »

Selling or breaking my 1992 red 16v, good engine with £600 rebuild by Mark Lightfoot.
Interior and body good, just had new fuel lines and alternator, needs new hydraulic lines and front sub frame to make it road worthy.
Prefer to sell complete, but can be broken.
£500 takes the car. Bits negoitiable.

And if anyone is wanting this I can supply a subfarme, and the tools to make some pipes, suprisingly easy, sure you don't want it fixed?

The pipe is readily available to make your own lines up and you can usually get the original pipes easily enough from several suppliers and even Citroen themselves.

Thanks for the interest guys, the car is worth saving but not by me. Have been a big fan of Cits in the past, I have owned 14 in total, but sort of lost interest after the BX which in my humble opinion was one of the best and the 16V the best of the best.
I have owned the car for about 12 years but its been parked up for the last 5 or 6 of them, hence the condition now. Promised myself I am going to decrease my 'fleet of projects' to 2, down to four now and so it has to go. Had quite a bit of interest for the engine to go into a Pug, but would prefer to see it go in one piece. But if not it will go in bits.

If You decide to break it, I'll take the front bumper if the price is right.

Cheers

subframe is worth about £20 if you want to get it off yourself £45 if I have to!! tools where just adapters for the normal automec swager, and the cupronickel pipe came from them too, and they only sell brass end fittings, which is nice! - easiset to just borrow the tool, so prob 2 way postage about £10 ( with an appropriate deposit untill its returned :D )

If someones short of bumpers I do still have a few in the garden!!
