Green 16v again! Open to offers

Post by ross_p »

Hi Again

My BX is still for sale and i need to get rid of it!!

MOT- May 2010
Mileage is 210,000 miles- don't stop reading!!! But it was a rep car for the first few years of its life and racked up a significant amount of these miles in the first few years of its life. (have an almost fully stamped service book)

I bought the car from a citroen enthusiast and have not abused the car myself. ALso had a recon cylinder head in the recent past.

Overall in pretty good condition, I was parking it on the street for about a month in which time some git smashed the drivers side wing mirror. Other annoyances are a bit of rust (treated) around the windscreen and the fact that if you park it outside in the rain it lets most of it in- its been parked in my garage for the past 2 months so missed the worst of the recent weather.

Anyway it has mot until May (but no tax) so make me an offer. I really dont want to see the engine in a 205 and it turned into bean tins!

Located near Southampton- e mail me on r.primmer@yahoo.com.

I posted and sent messages to say I was interested last time and still am. I'm not going to be able to do much about my interest until the new year as I'm tied up with work and away over New Year. Let me know.

I don't suppose you'd want to swap it for something... Like a 1987 Audi Coupe 1.8... or possibly a nice Saab 9000 2.0 turbo?

No?

Worth a try I guess...

Seriously though, we need to see some recent pictures. I always liked Triton green on a BX, and I was very close to buying this very car when Robin had it up for sale, only financial difficulties stopped me.

good to see its still going on, it must have done some miles now as it was on somthing like 206,000 when it left us over a year ago. It is a good car that and ive never driven a bx 16v with a better gearbox than that had.
