One last shot before she goes on EBay for the organ snatchers -

1989 Phase 2 16 valve BX, 69k miles, no tax or MOT. Engine had a new cambelt fitted around 60k miles, suspension and steering hydraflushed and fine last time she was on the road. Repainted by Stevie Wonder in Bora Bora Green metallic.

She's been under a tarpaulin for the last 3 years, and about an hour ago I put on a new battery. She span over a few times, fired, coughed then ran fine. Suspension pumped up to max setting within a few seconds of turning the key.

Will need exhaust (front part supplied but not fitted), TLC and some paintwork where the tarp rubbed.

Comes with some spares, 2 new tyres (205/50x16 Michelin Pilot Exalto), unused spare front section of the exhaust, handbrake cable and a few other bits.

Located in Basildon area Essex. PM me here or call 07973 496688.

Looking for £400 ono.

Used to look like this -

So I never did get around to putting her on EBay, but I need the space, and the prices for Mi16 engines and parts alone are worth more than the scrapman would pay me, if I could be bothered to strip and store the engine.

Anyone interested in the BX?
Paintwork is a complete mess, bonnet has deformed, but mechanically she'd probably still run fine given a working battery and a gallon of petrol.

I remember this car from way back when on the old forum. It was never my cup of tea, but it's really cool to see it get passed on to enthusiastic hands :)
