(more) Phase 2 alloys!

Post by djoptix »

Since my trip to tecw1979s place I have some phase 2 alloys (no tyres) for sale. I bought them for the tyres but I have no use for the wheels, being a phase 1 owner! They looked very ratty when I got them but I have cleaned them up with a wire brush and they're actually looking OK. Two are in good condition, one is fairly good and one has corrosion around the centre cap so this is the worst.

Would anybody be interested? I'm not going to take the tyres off them just yet in case nobody wants them, in which case I'll see what they look like on my car... will post pics if anyone wants.

Yeah, the anthracite colour ones. They all have centre caps by the way, although they need polishing up (the caps).

My FTP program has stopped working but I will stick some pics online as soon as I can :)

I did have to give them a couple of hours tlc! My eyes got a bit sore and I couldn't work out why... then, "ah of course, it would be because I have powdered alloy wheel in them"... hmm. I put some sunglasses on as makeshift safety goggles. The neighbours gave me some funny looks :D

Anyone at all interested? I've decided my phase 1 would look good with Peugeot 1.9 alloys on! But these need to go first.

Does anyone know if the centre caps off our alloys will fit the Pug ones?

Whilst looking on the 'bay for Peugeot alloys I turned up these... urgh.
