TD Hurricane Phase 1 lookalike in Triton green!

Post by ollie »

As the title says! am selling my TD its a J reg car in Triton green and has the 16v Phase 1 look.
I've had it for about 7 years and anything thats needed doing has been done!
Including, new Pleides Hydraulic pump, new cylinder head (NEW not refurb!) and is now running a 1.9 bottom end.
Clutch, shafts, strut rerteurns all recent 12 months MOT etc etc
a great cheap to run motor, and just serviced. its on 135K and is 15 k into a new cambelt, tensioners and water pump, oh and it has a K&N element in the box.

Whats wrong with it?
A few small paint blemishes as to be expected.
The low fuel light does not work and the NS wing mirror is manual not elec!
Otherwise very clean and tidy I reckon its worth 450 but would take 400

Any takers? somethings got to go

And the shine is real, it was polished about 2 months ago and washed earlier that day - its not a wet look photo - Handy trick for sheds in Ebay tho

Me too bud. pi**ed off doesn't begin to cover it.
The cars tucked up in my bus restoration building and I'll assess it properly as soon as the sun comes up.
It WILL fly again but it's gona need ALOT of bits and time and money etc.
No way am I giving up on that car, we've worked too hard on her to quit.
As and when I get hold of the little sh*ts that did it I'll return the favour and torch them (no, I am not joking).

Cheers

Gentlemen thank you for all your good wishes and offers of help, it is much appreciated believe me. Plans will be sorted in the next few days. The Xantia will be put up for sale when I can find a BX, it will help fund the repairs to the auto.
Thank you once again.
Cheers
