Hey guys,
have been thinking long and hard about this and realistically realised that depsite my best intentions i am never likely to get my car back on the road,
its been of the road for 8+ years, has plenty of rot in the usual places, but to the best of my knowledge has never been welded, - not a lot of a strong point when it needs significant amounts of now!! its all there though, orignal downpipe to where the resonator should be - cut out when i caught it on the inlaws drive in the early 00's, currently resonator back has fallen off where the flexi has gone, i do think it would start with some fuel and a plugs cap clean and battery, std wheels in silver, currently on pug.1.9 gti speedlines, engine will need a rebuild, but was a good lump, 116k if memory serves, stacks of paperwork, quad lamps on with originals in the loft, have a spare head with bent valves, spare exhaust and inlet manifolds, spare octopus which it had developed a leak from not long before it came of the road,
now, if anyone would like it as it is that would be great, but am not adverse to breaking it, i know my location will put many off, i know in my heart i am never likely to get it going again,
my email should be in my profile, pm me, reply here or what ever, i am on facebook as Tim Phyall profile of my 2 girls,
i know roughly what its worth and a relative view of what the parts are worth so wont be letting it go for pence, but also not asking showroom condition for it! ;-)

Hi Tim. As you say, distance might put people off. Depending on price I might be tempted to make the 600 mile round trip. It would most likely be broken up for Bertie spares but all parts not required such as seats, trim, carpets etc would be offered up for sale. PM me. Gary

Gary, no recent pictures but it's outside the lounge window so no huge effort to get some, ;-)
I've a price in mind for it which I don't think is too unachievable, all depends on the level of project you are looking for... Ping me a pm if you like, can chat that way,
Gary, drop a pm my way buddy,

PM'd you. Could be confusing having two replies, both from a Gary.
