ive been onto the hiflow heads website and im now quite intrested in a stage 4 head?? but i think i need a word with luke about what to buy. im looking for around 190+ bhp as 160 just isnt enough any more especialy as mikes cosworth is 250bhp, pods calibra is 297bhp and sonnys cav turbo is suposidly being built to house 400+ bhp so i need to keep up with the big guys but obviously sticking with the bx............

Personally I would speak to Dave Baker of Puma for a BV head and he will help choose the best catcams for that head, you will probably want vernier pulleys and TBH lightening the flywheel is not really worthwhile in this case.

Matt at QEP is also very good and can supply catcams and sort out headwork so worth calling him and getting prices there are links on the mainsite.

I also still beleive Gary has a decent head with piper cams which would be anice upgrade when coupled with a remap.

VAG throttles are pretty poor you are bette roff going for a genuine replacement upgrade with slightly bigger butterflys like the weber one I found on ebay.

Cheers
Luke

Rob, ignore all the power figures them three give you mate! (mike, pod and Scummy) you know sunny's will be off ht eroad every 3 months for another rebuild as he's melted something else he's cut corners on, From what i hear, mikes cossie is good in all the palces his old one was bad, but bad in all the places his old one was good! so a 250bhp driveway model aint gonna be that fast! and pod's is a calibra so doesnt really count as its a God awful looking thing loL!

IMHO bike bodies are only worth messing about with if you are a DIY nut and have access to a machine shop - if you have to pay people to do the work it is ppintless, much better off going for a reliable set up.

TBs are not the be all and end all most of the XU 16v lumps of th emi nature will give about 9BHP from just a prope rremap.

Cheers
