I'm looking at rebuilding my 16v engine and want to increase the compression from the 9.7:1 that it currently has...
Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I could get these parts (I know about hiflow heads...) in the UK or Europe?
I do need to factor in postage to Australia...
I don't want to blow the budget so I'm interested in any of the following that aren't outrageously expensive:
New or secondhand 10.4:1 83mm pistons (I've got a new set of rings)
New standard liners.
OR
Aftermarket 83.5mm higher compression pistons (up to say 11:1) so I can retain the current liners and have them bored to suit.
Any help would be appreciated!
