Performance French Car magazine

Post by kadams1970 »

Hi all,

I was asked to write a piece about the 16V for PFC magazine (now under new ownership, let's see where it goes), and was surprised that none of you have picked up on the fact...

It's a four-page colourful feature, nicely sympathetic to the cause, and all positive stuff for the car...

I suppose I was just worried I'd made some boo-boos, that you might have spotted :)

Timmo,

Thanks for your kind comments - they're much appreciated.

Anyway, there's more to come from that series - but it seemed fitting to start with the BX 16V, a subject I have a degree of passion about. I hope it's done some good for the cause...

And if you could post me a link for the thread, I'm really appreciate that.

Regards,
Keith

Hi Keith
Good to hear from you :D
My copy of the mag arrived a couple of days ago but only just got round to looking at it - I am administrator of the PFC forum and get rewarded with a mag to look at.

Nice article and should prove to be a popular series in the mag, I assumed it was you who had penned it and it did read very well. Only thing missing was a mention of the owners club

I have had a natter with a few of the Kelsey people and they seem optimistic about the mags future and generally a good bunch.

Cheers

Cool - thanks for the feedback, guys.

Now, all I need to do is get my own 16V again, so we can see it featured in Practical Classics magazine :)

Should be still available Tim - WHS are usually a safe bet and you are looking for issue number 1 as it is the first mag from the new publisher.

Good news is that the new publishers are planning to enable online ordering of single back issues so if you are hard pushed to get a copy you will be able to get them later. Should even be able to get hold of the Gary Cole articles that were very good.

Same here, and I must get hold of it to ensure there's no 405 Mi16 bashing going on.

Rather OT, but how many 405 Mi16's were there?

and how many Mi16 4x4's?
