I think, for pure fun/greif ratio, it has to be my old 1985 Cavalier 1.6GLS. It was great fun, comforable, speedy and never gave me much hassle mechanically. All my BXs have, at one point or another, had me reaching for the matches and petrol tin...

Whats the worst car you've ever owned?:
I breifly owned a J-Plate Sierra Turbo-Diesel estate. It wasnt very comforable, the radio was crap, it didnt handle, wasnt fast and only managed 38mpg. I planted it in a hedge one day on the way to work (brake, skid, oh yeah I have no AB-bang!). After repair, the exhaust fell in two when passing a Police car who promptly ticketed me. Then the camshaft snapped in two one morning as I reversed off my driveway.
It outdoes the 93 Cavalier TD that ate two £250 alternators in a row, attracted dents like a magnet and saw me spend a week over Christmas hols stripping and rewiring the loom under the dash.

Whats your dream car?:
1969 Mustang BOSS 429. I had a 69 Mach 1 once as a restore project, but I didnt have the time to do the work and had to sell it on

Either a 2005/06 Mustang Shelby 500, or another 1969 'Stang fastback. On a more practical note, a tweaked Audi 3.2TDi Quattro Avant would make a nice runabout...
