Injector Cleaning
I had mine done recently, thought it might cure the slight flat spot I've got just off a closed throttle, it did seem to pick up smoother for a bit but I'm sure it's back to "as before" now ......probably imagined it !!
I used this guy, only £49 + p&p

I can loan you my old ones if you don't want to be off the road while they're being done.

I think it is worthwhile as our injectors are renowned for gumming up and doing anything apart from spraying!
If you pay top whack you do get the nice paperwork showing before and after testing showing spray pattern, leakage etc but you can do a decent job yourself if you souirce the service parts like baskets,o-rings and filters yourself.
Can't grumble at £50 though.
Cheers

Can be worthwhile, but equally it's pretty easy to rebuild an injector for not alot of outlay like Luke said TBH.
Certainly these injectors do lose spray pattern quite quickly, but if you're hoping that an injector overhaul will transform the power and how the engine runs then you will almost certainly be disappointed.

lucus or lsuk as they were known (now in liquuidation iirc) used to perform the cleaning and iirc it was around 15-20 per injector,
one thought tim, how old are your fuel lines?? if they are old then maywell be worth chanign them too! (only £20 for the pair from citroen when i got mine!) made a lot of difference in feel after i had done mine!
one trouble is though! if you sort your injectors and pipes out and still have issues you want cured then it could be a costly venture!!!

Just bought some ultrasonically cleaned injectors off the bay of E for £20 plus a "headtune"polished and ported throttle body which will apparently give it more "GO", coupled to my new downpipe and devil link pipe it may go a wee bit better
So what bits do i need, gaskets/seals etc And wheres best to get them, plus I need to fit my new fuel rail and inlet manifold whilst im at it so will need new bits for that too.
TA!

Hi Tim
If the injectors have not had the o-rings changed then a set of 9 will be required - 2 for each injector and 1 for the PR at the end of the fuel rail, Citroen charge about £3 each whereas my local Bosch dealer usually gives me a handfull LOL!
Then a throttle body gasket and an inlet manifold gasket both are readily available and I do know the TB gasket is about £7 from Citroen as I have bought 3 in the past year
The cleaned up body should help general smooth running a little I did my std item myself ages ago and IIRC it is now on the valver that Tony M used to own.
Cheers
