Yes it's me I do still exist. It looks like you lot know more about my car than I do. I'm driving a 2.0 Toyota Camry in Sydney at the moment. It's totally gutless. I miss my valver, starting to regret not bringing it with me but I couldn't really have afforded the transit and air con conversion costs. Still there's another good reason to come back to the UK

I'm coming very late to this topic but... my red phase 1 is laid up too, half way through its track car conversion. Basically the inside is all sorted, I've stripped the interior, headlining, rear door cards and sound deadening. It still runs, but is waiting for rear arm bearings, long hydro pipes, rocker cover gasket, new rad and tyres. The plan is to get that lot done, get it MOTd and then move onto suspension tweaks, sticky tyres on my track wheels (uber-light C5 OEM alloy steel-pattern) and a stainless exhaust. I was hoping it would be done for this summer but being married has affected the cashflow somewhat!

The BX love is still strong though.

i still have the red valver but dont use it!. It sits in the garage now ( still taxed and insured ) realy looking for somewhere i can keep it and preserve it now rather than using it ( like finding someone with a private collection i can put it in ) I now run around in an old ford orion ghia

Our valver now has a fresh MOT and a years Tax 8)

Just needed new front discs and pads, and a refitted CV boot/gaiter on the steering rack.

Wow, just over a year since I started this thead. Where am I at?
Last year I needed a new front O/S ABS sensor. This I fitted and the damn light stayed on. Further checking showed rear N/S gone! How could that be I thought, not even been out. Finally two weeks ago I fitted the new sensor. Did not remove the arm. Relief ! ,not for long, the light still stayed on. Pretty p***ed by now. Guess what, rear O/S not working. How unlucky can one be. So last Saturday, fitted yet another sensor but tried it at the back seat connetion first. The light went out after the abs test clicks. So, fitted it and now all good. Next is a few checks, front brakes, fuel pipes and will be aiming for an MOT. Just have to find the time. Could be costly by the time I have got insurance, road tax etc.

It is nice to have it all working again. Will update when more to add.

Update... Now have MOT in place. Looking at August to get Road Tax etc. then it's out on the road

Further update...

:D :D :D :D :D :D

Finally I am on the road. Not been far, just to the garage between showers to get some 98 ron. Looking like a better day tomorrow so will have a good drive then. :D

I have changed the LHM, was a bit yellow looking. Car definitely rising faster now. 10 seconds or so even when left overnight.
Prefer it to the Lamborghini, like Signor Gandini!
