BX 16v drivers seat

Post by Rene »

Hi

I have a BX16v driver's seat if anyone wants it. It's very good condition, obtained from Gary C as a replacement for mine, but never got fitted. It's the common grey and black diagonal striped type.

It's free to anyone who will collect it or pay for carriage. Northampton area.

Chris White's old alloys will be up for sale soon if anyone is interested.
There may be more bits as I'm attempting a clear out.

Best Regards

Hi Rene
I will take the drivers seat if it is the Monza like my silverP2 ?

When you told me you had a drivers seat I thought you mean a seat in the racecar LOL!

Cheers

They wont be the zx16v ones, i still have those, im guessing it will either be the standard grey ones OR if i remember right, a set of 5 spoke curvy euro style ones, i remember seeing a pic of his car before he fitted the zx16v ones with those on.

It's like that, can't remember the names of the styles.

Did I tell you I got to the semi-finals of the "Dunlop Driver Academy"? This included a day at Donington driving a Porsche 968 and the Dunlop Seat Leon FR race car. I didn't do too well coming 5th on the driving and 4th or 5th overall, but I won the slalom in a race Fiat Punto by a huge margin and the whole thing was televised.
I have driven the race BX, LoL, but only around the paddock and onto the trailer :D

Anyway, if this is the style of interior, the seat is yours.

Best Regards

Hi Rene
That is a great result mate well done indeed :D
Hopefully we will see Bertie back in action again soon or perhaps you could fit some TBs and get him MOT'd for road use LOL!

That seat is just what I need mate so put me down for that and I will have to get a day trip sorted or maybe catch up with you at a race meet.

Cheers

I loved them on Chris's car and pandered him to sell them to me. On my red 16v, I saw them in either a tarty gold centre with a polished rim, or a moody anthrecite centre with a dark gold rim.

I'll dig them out and photograph them. See if there's any interest here before I Ebay them.
