our Citro mad friends came over today in the DS! Such a Great car!
didnt fail to turn heads thats for sure!! went for a cruise down to the beach and back (couple of miles) and have to say fo a 60's car i am simply Amazed at just how Comfy it was! suspension is amazing! makes the bx feel like its on coil overs!! and the Original Leather seats! Wow! Dont think ive ever sat on something so Comfortable! car or house! amazing!! Such a beautiful car!!!
this ones had a dodgy paint job in the past but you just over look it for such an engeneering marvel!!

My mechanic in Sussex has one, they are a pretty special car in my eyes.

Worth a good amount of money now too, looked on ebay at a few over here, just cant afford to buy one LOL.
Past 16v's: 89 Ph1 Black, 90 Ph2 Grey, 89 Ph2 Black, 91 Ph2 Grey, 91 Ph2 Black.

Now. 94 Datsun Silvia S14 rice rocket, 85 Peugeot 505 Turbo, 77 Ford Capri.

That's a lurverly motor! The car passed me just outside Newquay, he looked just as surprised to see the BX as i did the DS!

Swapsies? Nah, didn't think so! :lol:

Jay, yeah he's stating at hendra! towed the caravan down with it!! when we went out for a spin saw a load of Hotrod's who all waved lol! and a 60's 2stroke Saab!

Jezzie, they fetch Silly money over there!! have a great following and many dont suffer the rust issues from here!
i'd alsways liked them but never been in one! such a cracking bit of design!!

a french family were walking past the house just after they got here, stopped and had pictures taken by the car, geoff popped out for a chat, and found out they were french (i guessed from how they were dressed lol!!), said they never see them in france, yet come to cornwall on holiday and see one parked up in the small village they are camping in!!

Timmo, surprisingly you never had a ride in one before, its very comfy, speed humps are had for breakfast by the DS's suspension.
