I love those wheels. Can you share a picture of your valver with them?

I can confirm that the Mi rims don't fit in the back of a valver without a spacer. They foul the swingarm bolt.

A friend of mine put 17" wheels on his valver. Said it destroyed the handling, so watch out if going down that route. He put 15's on after that and said the car was transformed.

Just wondering if anyone has tried Speedline 434's on their valver.
They're 15" x 6.75", but they're ET8. So, they protrude out .75" more on the outside than the stock 6" ET15 speedline. They would protrude .25" more than a 7" wide wheel with an ET of 15.

Do you think they'd foul the rear arch?

Damn they look cool.

very nice......they're gorgeous, :D I think at nearly 3 quarters of an inch they would definalty foul the rear arches are you sure they're 6.75J? thats a width i've never heard of before. My nimrods are very close to the arches with ET25-16 .Surely though if they're ET8 you have plenty of scope to simply machine the hub face down. I think you would need to machine about 7mm to get back to the correct internal offset of a BX rim then about another 12mm to get them under the back arches,so maybe budget on machining 20mm off them :? Dont ask me how it will handle though but i doubt you'd notice much diffrence

they look more like Khan 5 spoke wheels?? been a while since i was a wheel geek!!
similar to these (rob H's car at FCS the year i went)
http://www.bx16valve.co.uk/forum/garage ... age_id=101
slightly more angular on the spoke though, little wider at the hub than the rim, sure they were Khan that made them??

with the speedlines i'd say for sure they foul the rear arch, et15 is what they should be, but 12-20 fits on the extreme's,
if youve a local machine shop that'll do it get them to machine 10mm off each wheel to put them at et 17, which should be fine, adding spacers reduces the offset numbers, so you could get then ti remove 28mm and then you'd have them at ford fitment and bung on a spacer to bring them back to our fitment but drastically improving future sales potential!!

I remember someone on here had C2 GT 16" alloys on a red valver. They're 6J and 27mm offset.

The question is do these need a spacer to fit the BX which has offsets from 15mm (valver) - 25mm (standard disc steel)?

Seen a set locally for £60 with half decent tyres which seems a bargain. If they don't go on the BX I can always stick them on the ZX or Xantia I suppose :)

Does any one know this car?

I've tried looking on Tineye.com to no avail. I can't remember where I got the image from, its file name is BXAX.jpg. I found some more photos of the AX by searching "citroracing 2007" but sadly none of the Valver.

I'm wondering what size the BBS-RS style wheels are?
15" or 16"? and what width?

Also at et15 on a 6.5 or 7" wide wheel would there be much "dish"?

Looking for new tyres for my Valver, but there isn't much thats reasonably priced and good in the 195/60r14 range here, so I've been thinking about finding some 15's.

I've been eyeing off my fathers Activa and been having dark thoughts of doing this.
Image

Unfortunately I can't find another set of Activa wheels at the moment.
The wheels them selves are rather heavy too I believe.

I've also been contemplating this.

Image

The 205 speedlines will be easier to find here than the Activa wheels, but probably more expensive.

Just thought I'd share the photoshops.

I'm dreaming right?
Please tell me there is a way without destroying my arch.
I really want Borbet Type A's but I can't find them in less than 8 inch wide in Aussieland.
