Me, not the car! Not strictly true as the 16v still goes, but a Friend ran it out of water so not keen to do anything with it, Especially as the diesel saloon just passed another mot for 23 quid on strut returns....
More importantly I've just bought another bx, a 1988 preview 1.4 no sun roof, abs, elec windows, rear wiper, pas in fact non of th bits which add weight and stop working! Plan to mint up the shell and 16v it with the remains of the cat b one so should be fair bit quicker than standard just by weighing less.

It is that one, looks better in the photo than real life! allthough it is very straight there is some odd corrosion around the rear arches but i'll be putting the 16v ones on anyway to get the clearance - its not as though I don't have enough bits.....
The idea of less crap to go wrong really appeals, and the added acceleration can only help. will be fitting the 16v kit as the weight is minimal and i like the idea of less front end lift at speed.
