Hi guys, back in the late 90's I had many bx's, a few 16v models, my pride and joy was a J 92 black 16v (J501HFB). I sold it in 2001 due to financial reasons and regretted it ever since. Now I'm slightly more mature, and have a good restoration business I'm back in the market for a 16v. Therefore if any of you guys have one that you are thinking about selling etc, please let me know. I am after one with a good spec level, ph2, but pre 92 (no cats).
Cash waiting for the right car.
Many thanks
16v BX wanted for enthusiast

If you're enthusiastic, the green hornet is about half a step away from going to the crusher.

Even if it's rotten through the spares are worth having.

Hi Karl - My BX 16V is for sale
Hi, My BX 16V Phase 2 is for sale. I was looking for £1350 or offer for car,
It is listed already on this site. Everything is good on the car except some small hydraulic leaks from the regulator. It is SORN presently. Has been up for sale since Jan.
It is red and quite a nice red, i.e. not faded but it does look like in its past it has had a respray.
It has done 64K ish - I have masses of history of the car and think the mileage is genuine from the timeline etc.
I have owned the car approx 2 years, previous to that I bought 2 phase 2 BX 16V's which were in poor condition. I eventually scrapped both of these.
The body shell is in really good condition, no corrosion. I have had engine out, front wings off. The ad is in the for sale area which shows the new parts on the car. I have pretty much changed whole ignition system for new, and spheres, wishbones, front suspension arms, ball joints, timing belt, tensioners, oil pump, water pump, sump baffle. Head gasket and complete head rebuild by Citroen specialist Curbridge Motors about 1 year ago.
It has no MOT as it ran out end of July. I believe it will pass straight off.
I live on the Isle of Wight but would pick you up from a ferry and if you wanted car I would deliver it off the Island as I can get a cheap one way ticket. I am away on business from the end of this week for 2 weeks but I believe the car is worth a look. Im quite happy to show you all the things to look for in a car having bought 2 really poor examples previous to this one. Regards Phil Slater
