Is there a set pressure that these should open?
Can they be overhauled?
Some I can blow through using an air can, others nothing doing and appear totally blocked. Have removed nozzle off some and most have a ball bearing inside, others not. Presume they should have ball bearing but whoever has taken them apart before has lost it.
How critical are they to operation of engine and piston cooling?
Has anyone run a 16v engine without them fitted?
