Chances of success

Post by Vanny »

Tomorrow I'm heading off in the direction of Bristol to pick up the pink shed after some TLC. What are my chances of getting back (132miles) in one go, without the use of the breakdown services? Remember this is the first time the car has driven anywhere for almost exactly 5 years!

Pictures of break down to follow :D

Well I'm on my third and last train before the adventure really begins. Beautiful views across the country side on the way down. I bet the view won't be so good from the hard shoulder😂

Hi Vanny, just seen this. By now you may be back and I really hope you have not seen views from the hard shoulder. Your comments made me smile, I think everyone is relieved when they get back home but I think you will have made it without issue. I bet you will have got a few looks, these cars seem to be a magnet for 2nd glances now. :D

Good news Vanny. At least you are using it
Must feel nice knowing you can go to the car, start it and actually take it out. I planned on getting mine taxed at the start of this month but the bad weather put paid to that. Even if it had been, I would not have had the time to take it out. Perhaps seeing yours will make me find some.

It does not look as pink as I thought it may but perhaps the picture does not show it. I have had a Venetian red, once you get on top of it, it is quite easy to maintain. It is not the worst I have seen, far from it.

Well done!

Edit.

Now Taxed.
