Citroen Centenary - 31st May to 2nd June

Post by Vanny »

Part of the reason for getting my valver back on the road is in order to attend the Citroen Centenary at Coombe Park (Coventry, M6 J2). I'm likely to only be going on the Saturday.

Anybody else fancy it?

Can't make it to this unfortunately. Would love to revisit Coombe Abbey hotel for an afternoon tea, it is worth making a booking if you have time to relax for a cuppa and a bite to eat.

After an epic amount of under side work (sill ends, TRE, drop links, service, various unseen bits of body work) followed by an epic clean (machine cut, polished, interior bathed, cleaned and treated) all with the specific intent of going to the Centenary, I only got 6 miles!

I haven't parked in such an awful spot, that's as far out of the way as I could roll when the engine cut out.

Seriously unimpressed.

Hi Vanny,

That is awful, I bet you are fed up. I guess you have some breakdown cover with your insurance but it is very disappointing. The car looks really nice on the road as well. Probably something very minor but enough to probably ruin the day.
Prefer it to the Lamborghini, like Signor Gandini!
