16v bits wanted

Post by Niko9 »

Hi, all finally got my hands on a 16 valve so I’m now gonna be a pain in the arse and probably ask loads of stuff. But firstly I’m after a n/s/f fog light and the bx 16 valve badge for the boot. I’m sure there’s loads floating about :D

Of the two, fog lights appear the easier to get and not that costly. Further down the page is the driving light as seen on 309's etc.

Welcome to the club. :D

Perfect, they are more for looks really because as a fog light, they are not that great. They are also quite prone to cracking if hit by a chipping. I bought some Peugeot covers that seemed to solve the issue when the car was in regular use.

I have been looking for the 16v emblem on various sites but no luck, I have only seen stickers.

Yeah the glass isn’t so strong, I’ve wrapped them with yellow vinyl which should help abit. I’ve seen the stickers but I’d rather wait.

Where are you based/where goes it need to get to?

I think I have one on a toolbox in the garage, it's in surprisingly good condition, but the white/silver lettering is very faded.

You can touch up the lettering with a Molotow chrome pen and seal it with spray on acrylic varnish. Example below, see the pictures on the page.
