BX POND is now "anything else". But wil be monitored as there are some more sensitive members who take offence to things that arent to there liking or BX related.

Yes, it's all gotten extremley silly over there. I really hope Jon doesn't pull the plug but.... but if he does there are alternatives!

i have to say that i have found the bxclub as a whole of late to have gone down hill! i tend to browse and rarely post due to this!
also what annoys me greatly is that they deem £400 to be too much for a 16v thats in need of a small amount of work yet if said car was a tzd then they would all be getting super excited about it!!
petrol owners are in the minority on the club and it shows that when ever a new member arrives wanting advice on whats best they are automatically pushed at the deisels woith the petrol models not getting a look in!
may be it would to have been the bxd club!

Maybe we should open a BX Pond over here for all non 16v BX'ers to share knowledge? - It is an option if the BX Club ever did close up but that would certainly be a shame :(

Personally I think we should work together a bit as any publicity for the BX range must raise awareness of the 16v as well.

Cheers

Not a bad idea Luke. It's a shame it's come to this, but I agree, anything petrol seems frowned upon by the "great and good"!

Of course I can sit on my lofty perch since I have a valver and a TD (and it's way better than a TZD, despite its current inability to hold coolant in!! ).

Time will tell I guess but I think it's a dying forum sadly :(
