have ben uysing tesco normal unleaded for a while an d started to notice that the engine sounded quite loud and harsh, tanked it with jet an d noticed straight away the engine sounded happier and smoother! odd!
anyways! tesco finest has been getti ng good results!
there have been sooo many tests on different fuels and on diferent cars to show what the fuel can do! interestingly on a std 1.2 clio it made no difference what so ever to torque or bhp, on the new golf gti it gave 7bhp (although the golf came out at 180brake instead of 200 before they startred the fuels!!!) but the scooby imp they had made 9bhp and 11lbft on the top fuel!

Tesco's 95 seems to make my valver judder. I've heard this before from other people, yet on Shell 95 (just as cheap where I am) it goes lovely...

...Intrigued about the 99, BP Ultimate works well in that it seemed to give my car a bit extra (remember the run dn to Cornwall! ) , That was the first tankful it got under my ownership as it had been used as a "shops'n'back" machine for a few months and was definately feeling flat as a pancake!

Will have to give the 99 a o, maybe shave a fewminutes of the Hastings-St.A time, hahaha!

Nowt wrong wi' Sinclair 48k lad,

operating system in firmware, sub 1 second boot up time, silent in operation, uses only 10watts and cost only £99 (in 1982)

Modern computers are way behind in these specifications, but I am still having trouble connecting a mouse.

I always preferred my 'state-of-the-art' Spectrum 128+3 (the one with the 3" double-sided disk drive). Now THERE'S versatility!
