Hmm, this afternoon busy with the bx...
first i took the time of cleaning it, control all the fluids, took me an hour of cleaning the dogs hairs out of the backseat
After that i took my time to see how to fix this zx spoiler. It fits for 95% beautifully. It's just to figure out how to get it on the bx
the holes you see can't be used but are covered up with plates fitting in those gaps. through the holes you can see the glass, so useless when you want to screw it on. I think the only option will be using some kind of kitt.
But first i have to paint it because when on glueed on the car that won't be possible anymore. So that's the first thing what i will do, then brainstorming again

hi there,
it looks good! i think your best bet might be to use filler on the top for the holes and to smooth the surface. after i think glue is your only easy option if the spoiler sits nicely on the boot door. as both surfaces are plastic i think fibre glass resin would do the best job of securing it on.
thats my thoughts, cheers rossco

not 100% sure as to wether its do able or not but you may be able to drill through the boot from the inside to screm the spoiler on?? seems to have about 1/2" around the edge of the window that you may be able to use??
may be worth looking on a spare boot lid first though!!
then you could screw and bond it on!!

Allrighty then...today we had a very productive day. Changed the cambelt of my brothers Xantia, never done that but learnt a lot
Of course with help of a friend and it went allright. Still to do the belt of the bx
In the meantime i placed the zx spoiler. Have to remove some kit-residue but it came out good
First i kitted the corners and used ducktape to hold in into place. When that part was dry i kitted the rest and used a haevy object to push it against the bootlid.
Look at the sticker on the window of last pic

No Tim, not for 100%....tim leech wrote:Is it a perfect fit? I do like the look of that
It almost fits, at the corners you mis about half a centimeter...so it's not perfect. If you are a perfectionist then don't do it, if you don't mind the corners then it looks great
when it's better weather (yes, the uk is not the only country where it rains a lot ) I will take some detail pics.

Fixing it on will be easy, don't use resin or drill any holes.
Use double sided sticky trim fixing tape. There are various types available,
and you will need less than you expect because it is VERY strong stuff. Because it is foam backed, it will stretch to fill any slight gaps.
If you can't get any, let me know and I will source you some.
Mike
PS
That looks very neat. Looks like a dealer fit option.
I would like one with a high level brake light incorporated.

If your gonna get a zx spoiler fair play i think it looks nice on the bx but be warned make sure you get the two plates that go on the top of the spoiler
these plates are not available as a seperate part from citroen and are very brittle i snapped one on my volcane deisel and it took me ages to get a replacement
