James,

Hinges are fragile on these cars, sadly built into the glove box front and aren't replaceable.

I've got a standard downpipe and centre "question mark" pipe in the garage at home. I've got to sort my cars downpipe out and if I don't need it then you are more than welcome to exchange some of her Majesty's finest papers for it.

Why do people worry about down pipes? they're easily fixed and still available new as spurious.
Can add the rear of the 8v to the front off the old 16v. but the 8v front won't straighten out to fit 16v tho...

next time theres a meet an we get all the old one's together and I'll take them away and weld them all reday for doling back out!

Have loads of storks if you Pm me, about £4 each plus £2 P&P.

Glove box lids all go, best way to fix is prob a length of piano hinge and some v small rivets and bit of care! Cig lighters are shared with the whole worlds Peugeots, so I may not ave bothereed keeping any but will look.

and for BX wiring theres no such thing as slot in - thers no real multiplug a sstandeard and therefore most wiring is cobbled - bets thing is to get a pro to fit a proper ISO for all future needs.

In that case let me know your supplier as i'd love one! But in reality stocks only exist for straight through pipes and NOT accurate reproductions which have a split through the middle and are infact made of two seperate halves welded together!

original fitment radios will strangely enough plug into the original radio fittings which where designed to fit Boston and Clarion radios, so if someone can suggest the correct original fitment radio then this will plug directly into the 'odds and ends' connections!

Well the supplier is the carspares down the road they cost about 68 quid and they do have the siamesed section - the unit is a walker stocked by half the world!

As for the connections you ae correct standard ones do fit, but when did you last see a standard one? and with working wiring  if were being smart you will note that the connections are the same as standard DIN as used on old escorts and the whole world pre 87, so you can just use an escort adapter loom to get the connections ready for an ISO, or just use a sh*t stereo :P

Well i've got a standard steroe in the garage and my mates estate still have original radio and wiring, but i know what you mean they pretty much all get chopped out, though standard connections as in an escort sounds useful to know!
